Gallup Park

We painted at Gallup Park in Janet Kohler's class yesterday.  It was a perfect day to capture the atmospheric perspective ( blue-gray effect of the atmosphere in the distance).  The more I know about painting, the more I don't know.
We are leaving for Seattle after this is posted.  I will have to load up the camera.

  1. Another beautiful painting! Is this also pastels? So you paint rather than draw with pastels? I love the outdoors as you do and I appreciate that you capture these moments. They are studies in the beauty and complexity of creation. This one is moody yet no less a meditation and celebration.
